Personal Assistant to the Managing Director
Due to continued growth, Software Acumen is looking for a full-time Personal Assistant based in the Cambridge area to provide an efficient and responsive administrative and organisational service to the Managing Director and support the company's world-recognised software conferences and evening events. The Company's guiding principle is to improve the customer experience and everyone in the company contributes to that principle.
You will need to have demonstrable experience in an administrative, Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant role and ideally a background of working in the events industry. It goes without saying that you will have excellent attention to detail, organisational skills second to none and will have the communication skills to deal with people at all levels of seniority.
The role will involve working independently from home on your own initiative and with minimum instruction (one team meeting per week is held in Cambridge) so you must be able to recognise and resolve problems quickly and efficiently. However, the Company may look to establish office premises in the near future and this role will be very much involved in setting this up.
In return, we offer a payscale of £22 – £27k, depending on experience. This is a busy position which will provide plenty of variety and the opportunity to be hands on with all elements of maintaining and developing the Company's events programme.
